Urban Spirit Foundation was successfully launched as a charitable foundation on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Bill Reid Gallery in downtown Vancouver.
Manley McLachlan, President of BC Construction Association wasthe keynote speaker. Two former ACCESS participants, Gerald Green of ACCESS BladeRunners and Ryan LeNeal of ACCESS Trades & Apprenticeship and two USF scholarships recipients, Robert Holler and Nathan Whonnock were on hand to speak about their personal success stories.
The event was well attended and everyone enjoyed traditional salmon and bannock luncheon provided by Friendship Catering.
