Education and Employment Training

USF makes grants to Urban Aboriginal organizations that provide programs addressing basic education requirements, specific skills training opportunities, secondary and post-secondary preparation, career exploration and life skills enhancements.


Scholarship Awards

USF provides secondary and post-secondary scholarship awards based on need and ability to persons of Aboriginal descent who are in high school and/or pursing post-secondary studies in fields that will help meet the specific needs of First Nations, Inuit, or Metis peoples and communities. USF would like to expand these awards to more school districts, colleges and universities.


Short Term Assistance

USF makes grants to urban Aboriginal organizations that provide short term assistance that enables urban Aboriginal individuals and families to get back on track in times of need. Small investments in community-based projects and programs can make a significant impact in turning personal difficulty into a road to success.
